I've been creating a form and it has generally been going well (this is my first time using the software). But now I'm perplexed. I just added a section at the very end of the form and that section does not appear in the preview or the live version at http://www.tfaforms.com/128937.
It's not set up to be conditional and I haven't had any trouble adding a section up to now. I'm lost. :-) Could someone take a look and help out a newbie?
Within the formbuilder (is that what you mean by preview?) you should try hitting the 'refresh' button on the upper right and see if that updates the preview panel.
However, you added fields, and saved the form, but changes were not visible on the live form page?
Yes, I'm in formbuilder. Sorry, I thought I saw the term Preview somewhere in a tutorial.
Seeing your mention of fields, I added a question to the missing section and now the section is appearing. I could have sworn I tried that and it didn't work but it's working now. Probably my mistake.
The behavior you noticed is normal, although I can see why it's confusing. The section is not visible until it has some content (a question, or text/image).
The reason is that we noticed that novice users sometime don't properly add content to a section. That used to result in empty fieldsets in the form, and that just didn't look good. So we now assume that if a section is empty, it's either very temporary, or a mistake, so we don't display it.
We could however improve the preview to clearly indicate that the section is empty and that it won't be displayed on the final form. Thanks for bringing it up!
