One of the annoying things in gathering form responses is the task of printing and exporting to PDF each and every form response. I'd like to see an option to select all>print like the select all>delete option. I'd also like to see an exporting option for Adobe PDF or even word.

Maybe there is already a feature like this and I missed it?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Actually the developers had considered implementing a feature to export responses to PDF, though I dont know if it was on an individual response or group response level. The lack of user demand for this feature cause it to be shelved.

You could export to Word by:
    1. importing the CSV file into Excel
    2. mail merging the columns from the resulting spreadsheet with a Word document.

    Happy to answer further questions,
    FA Support.

Thanks for your response; that's too bad there is not a lot of demand for such a feature. Doing a mail merge would work, but I'm not really interested in creating a mail merge document for every form I want to export. Kind of a lengthy task.

Instead of exporting to a working document, how about just an option to select all>print? I think that would cover about 95% of my needs anyway.

    Thanks!

I really think that formassembly development team needs to rethink pdf export capability. Such a feature would enable users that have a need for the printable format of a document to be presentable in a format that fits business form needs, such as forms that require a signature.

A further enhancement would be if users could modify the PDF output with headers/footers, formatting, logo etc.

Just because the feature has not been widely requested via the blog doesn't mean it would not be very popular or functional.

PDF capability should be in 2 places. First after form submission, the option to print to the pdf or save the submitted form in pdf is highly functional and desirable. And also a pdf export function would make it easier to integrate the form data in to other pdf documents.

I provide technology support for a university and such a combination of features would be highly values and difficult to come by.

Additionally, less javascript and server side processing and more ajax implementation to increase compatability with the cms product used here would make site-wide licensing for this product a no brainer.

    Hi, thanks for your feedback.

You can help us prioritize requests by voting for the following features on our uservoice forum:

Regarding your other point, what CMS product are you using, and what kind of compatibility issues are you having?
