I've been using FormAssembly for years and I love it. However I have a client who is looking for more of custom look to his form (example: http://codemyconcept.com/order-now/ ). Does FA have the ability to build a form like this? If not could someone please advise me how I would go about doing this and what tools I could use? Thank You.

I'm trying to accomplish the same thing. It should be possible to create the custom look entirely in CSS. The question is: how do you add this CSS to the form?

First, I copied the HTML from Option 2 in the Publish tab, modified it with my custom CSS, then put it on my website. Unfortunately, this was error-prone. I had to modify it with every form update.

Now I discovered the "advanced" tab in the form builder. It allows me to link to my own CSS stylesheet. My own stylesheet is now automatically included in the HTML from Option 2 in the Publish tab, no need to modify it manually.

I have not fully tested this approach, and I wonder if this is indeed the right way to do it. Any feedback?

    Thanks,
    Jep

PS. I also saw the new Theme Editor, but did not seem to allow custom CSS, only a choice from predefined elements.

PPS. In the ideal situation we can create our own "Styles" template, but I don't think this is possible today

    Hello,

Gonzales1982, FormAssembly forms are fully customizable. If you need help generating CSS that performs as you like, please open a support request and we'll be happy to assist you.

Gooddata, the advanced tab in the FormBuilder and the Custom Code block there do allow you to automatically include your own stylesheet. This will work, provided you include the correct FormAssembly classes and IDs in the stylesheet.

As for the Theme Editor, you should be able to modify absolutely everything from the "Advanced Editing" options. In this way you could create your own template. If there's something you would like to modify but cannot, please let us know, either here or through a support request. We're still open to tweaking the Theme Editor to better suit everyone's needs, so your feedback is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    FA Support
