    I thought Monday was the starting day by default in the western world. It is where i live at least, so maybe this could help others too?

    Hello,

    The starting day for the Calendar system is set by ISO standard ( and implemented by YUI ). In the US, (en-US setting), calendar's begin on sunday, even though monday is the start of the week officially.
