For the "Your form received a response" alerts, is there any way to change the "From" email address from report@formassembly.com to the actual respondent's email address? If so, how do I do this? Thanks!
Yes, assuming you are on the professional level plan. You must first choose 'custom template', then place the alias to the respondent's email address field from the form into the custom template's 'from' field ( you can find out more about aliases in our documentation ). Note that some over zealous email systems will regard this as 'spoofing' and will thus block the email notifications. You'd need to check with your mailhost if you're experiencing issues like that.
Thank you! We host with gmail, do you expect that will throw us the "spoofing" errors? I'm creating a simple form whereby users will submit their email address in order to receive a valuable informational packet (in PDF format) for planning their vacation. The goal is to set up a Rule in Outlook that will autorespond to these form submissions with a formatted template (including PDF attachment). Sounds like I'm on the right track?
