Support Requests: Why does %%REFERRER%% not work?

    I have customized my notification email template to include the alias %%REFERRER%% (as outlined in the docs). When I try submitting the form, there is nothing displayed where the referrer should be. The other aliases work correctly (%%RESPONSE%%, %%SUBMITTED_DATE%%, etc...). When I look at the metadata for the response, I can see the referrer. I want to see that value in the email, but it isn't happening. Am I doing something wrong?
