We have a form hooked up to a Google Spreadsheet and it seems to be working well and capturing responses.

However, the column headings are not all useful - some are empty where a field in the form does not have a label (for example a compound "name" field with first and last fields but only a section label), and some columns with extra long text from a long label.

Is it safe to edit column headings (for the examples above to add a column label where there is currently no label, or shorten a long label)? Will this "break" the integration with the form? Obviously we would be careful not to add, remove or rearrange columns, just edit the first row.

    Thanks
    Rob

    Hello Rob,

You can edit the column headings of Google spreadsheets. Here is a little more on the subject of customizing your spreadsheet:

    Happy to help further,
